Binance is pushing deeper into traditional finance with a new options offering tied to more than 1,000 U.S. stocks and exchange-traded funds. The product is being made available only to eligible users outside the United States, and it can be accessed through a single Binance account.

Binance widens its TradFi lineup

The exchange already offers access to a larger universe of more than 7,000 U.S. stocks and ETFs, and the new launch adds a derivatives layer on top of that equities business. The options are physically settled, which means exercised contracts result in delivery or receipt of the underlying shares rather than a cash payout. That structure puts the product closer to the mechanics of traditional listed options than to the synthetic exposures familiar in crypto markets.

The service will be distributed through Binance’s Abu Dhabi-regulated broker-dealer, Nest Trading, while orders are routed to Alpaca Securities in the U.S. for execution, clearing, settlement and custody. That setup combines an offshore access point for users with U.S.-based market infrastructure behind the trade lifecycle. Binance said the expansion follows a rise in demand for traditional financial products on the platform.

A bridge between crypto and listed markets

The move extends Binance’s effort to package conventional market access inside its crypto ecosystem. For users, the appeal is operational simplicity: one account, one platform and access to both crypto products and U.S.-linked equities derivatives. For Binance, the broader product suite can help deepen engagement beyond spot trading and standard derivatives.

The launch also highlights how crypto venues are trying to capture more of the trading flow that has historically sat with brokers and listed-derivatives platforms. Binance said volume in its TradFi perpetual futures segment has reached about $433 billion, underscoring the scale it is already seeing in these products. The new options offering adds another instrument type, but one that comes with the conventions and settlement rules of traditional markets.

The expansion is aimed at eligible non-U.S. users, reflecting the regulatory limits that still shape where such products can be offered. By keeping the access outside the United States while using U.S.-registered infrastructure for the back end, Binance is trying to broaden its footprint in traditional assets without changing the jurisdictional boundaries around the product. That makes the launch less a crypto novelty than a further step in blending digital-asset venues with mainstream market plumbing.
