Microstrategy Bought Bitcoin Once Again Nasdaq-listed Microstrategy increased the company's total Bitcoin savings to 124,391 bitcoins with a purchase of 1,914 BTC. CEO Michael Saylor recently said that he expects the price of the cryptocurrency to reach $6 million.

Microstrategy, the company on the Nasdaq list, which stands out with its Bitcoin support, bought 1,914 BTC. With the most recent acquisition, the company currently owns 124,391 bitcoins. Microstrategy CEO announced the acquisition via Twitter on Thursday:
Microstrategy purchased an additional 1,914 bitcoins for ~$94.2 million in cash at an average price of ~$49,229 per bitcoin.
Saylor said, “As of 12/29/21, we have received about 124,391 bitcoins for about $3.75 billion, at an average price of $30,159 per Bitcoin.” BTC price dropped slightly on Thursday. The price of Bitcoin, which has lost 1.4% in the last 24 hours, is hovering around $ 47,398. At the current price, Microstrategy's BTC holdings are worth about $5.9 billion. The pro-bitcoin CEO of Microstrategy owns about 17,732 BTC. He recently stated that he expects the price of the cryptocurrency to reach $600,000 per unit and eventually reach $6 million. Saylor repeatedly said that BTC will replace gold. “Once upon a time, gold was the most desirable store of value. Now bitcoin is taking its place,” he tweeted earlier this month. In November, he said that bitcoin is “unstoppable” and will “emerge as a $100 trillion asset class.”
