While Foreign Trade Trainings are a route for traders, the new Ministry of Commerce will continue its foreign trade education this year, which opens new doors to businesses that draw different routes to exporters and cannot sell products to other countries.
The Trainings, which provided 25 thousand exporters in 9 years, of which 4 thousand were last year, contributing to breaking the records of the history of the Republic in foreign trade, will start from 12 February this year.
According to the information received by the AA correspondent from the Ministry, sustainable export, market, and product diversification, development of middle and high technology exports within the scope of the "Export Master Plan" prepared by the Minister of Trade Ruhsar Pekcan, taking into consideration the global trends.
New studies are carried out within the framework of its objectives.
Foreign trade information seminars held in 81 provinces to improve the equipped manpower in foreign trade, increase the number of exporters and the knowledge and experience of existing exporters, serve as a guide for developing the activities of existing exporters and opening the doors of foreign markets for transactions that have not yet sold products to other countries.
Within the framework of the goal of spreading the export mobilization to the base, through seminars organized under the Coordination of the Turkish Exporters Assembly (TIM) and the Union of Chambers and commodity exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the companies are informed about practical solutions to their problems as well as the intricacies of foreign trade.
MINISTRY ORGANIZED 537 FOREIGN TRADE SEMINARS IN 9 YEARS In 2019, the ministry gave training to about 4 thousand people in 94 foreign trade information seminars held in 77 provinces, 14 cooperation organizations.
This number reached about 25 thousand exporters in the period 2011-2019 with 537 seminars held from Edirne to Kars and from Sinop to Hatay.
Basic foreign trade, exporters, exports, government support and potential export markets for the purpose of giving information about seminars, e-export strategy this year as part of the "e-export/e-commerce applications," the presentation added.
THE FIRST MEETING THIS YEAR IS IN IZMIR ON 12 FEBRUARY The Ministry, which will continue to hold information seminars in coordination this year, plans to conduct 88 foreign trade information seminars with 17 cooperation organizations in 68 provinces.
The first meeting this year will be held on 12 February under the Coordination of the Ministry of Commerce, TOBB and TIM and hosted by the Izmir Chamber of Commerce.
