XRP posted its sharpest single-week gain in several months, rallying alongside renewed trading volume after a court decision provided additional clarity on the token's regulatory status in the United States.

The token traded near $0.72, up more than 20% over the week, according to desk data, with several exchanges reporting a notable pickup in listing and trading activity following the ruling.

Exchanges reassess listing policies

A handful of trading platforms that had previously restricted or delisted the token in certain jurisdictions signaled they were reviewing those decisions in light of the improved regulatory clarity, a shift analysts said could meaningfully expand the token's accessible trading base.

Derivatives markets showed a sharp increase in open interest on XRP futures contracts, with funding rates turning notably positive as traders built fresh long positions in anticipation of continued momentum.

Some analysts cautioned that regulatory sentiment can shift quickly, and that further legal or legislative developments, in either direction, remain a key risk factor for the token's medium-term trajectory.
